Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix Announces Grand Re-Opening Celebration Arizona’s Only Elite Certified Training Center
Welcomes Community for Family Friendly Event and Seminar with Rener Gracie

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix, recognized by Gracie University as one of only eight Elite Certified Training Centers worldwide, is celebrating the grand re-opening of its expanded flagship academy at 13637 N. Tatum Blvd. Suite 18 in Phoenix.
The community is invited to join the festivities beginning at 8:00 AM with family-friendly activities, local vendors, exciting obstacle courses, refreshing water slides, raffle prizes, and live DJ entertainment. Local media will provide live coverage at 8:05 AM, 9:05 AM, and 9:55 AM.
A special ribbon-cutting ceremony presented by the Greater Phoenix Chamber, with Adam Ideson, Founder and Head Instructor of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix, and Rener Gracie, Co-Founder and CEO of Gracie University, will take place at 9:45 AM. The ceremony will also include remarks from a special guest speaker.
Activities conclude at 12:30 PM, followed by a self-defense seminar with Rener Gracie from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This seminar offers participants a rare opportunity to train directly with the head of Gracie University, bringing the Phoenix community closer to the roots of the art. “For more than 12 years, our instructor team has had the privilege of sharing Gracie Jiu Jitsu with thousands throughout our community. The skills we teach are invaluable, but Jiu-Jitsu is more than a collection of self-defense techniques or a grappling art. Jiu-Jitsu is a vehicle for self-discovery,” said Adam Ideson, Founder and Head Instructor of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix.
In addition to celebrating the expansion of its flagship facility, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix sees this milestone as a chance to strengthen bonds in the Valley. “As communal beings, our health is tied not only to what we eat or how we train, but also to how we connect,” said Ideson. “This gathering is an opportunity to share me, laughter, and space with one another in a positive and healthy way.”
